Register Rewards is a receipt coupon, which can be used like cash toward ANY purchase at Walgreens. Watch the expiration dates because they only give you 2 weeks! I prefer to use my RR on a 2nd or 3rd transaction right away because I don't get to Walgreens often and have had RRs expire. Thankfully, every time they have expired it has only been 1 or 2 days late and my favorite cashier takes them anyway. She said they won't beep if they are within just a few days of the expiration date.
